Perceptions et intentions comportementales des visiteurs face aux activités écotouristiques : entre engagement environnemental et recherche d’expériences authentiques

L’écotourisme gagne de plus en plus en popularité au fil des années. Cela est principalement attribuable au fait qu’elle répond à une aspiration croissante des visiteurs à voyager de manière responsable, en harmonie avec la préservation de l’environnement et le respect des populations locales, dans une perspective de durabilité. Toutefois, il existe souvent un décalage entre les intentions déclarées des touristes et leurs comportements réels sur le terrain. Cette étude qualitative s’appuie sur des entretiens semi-directifs menés auprès d’un panel de visiteurs d’un site écotouristique, afin d’analyser leurs perceptions, motivations, freins et engagements environnementaux. L’approche met en lumière une diversité de profil, allant d’un fort engagement écologique à des attitudes plus pragmatiques et contextualisées. Les résultats révèlent également des contradictions notables entre discours et pratiques effectives. En se référant à ces observations, des recommandations sont formulées pour améliorer la cohérence entre les intentions et les comportements, notamment à travers des actions ciblées de sensibilisation, d’accompagnement des visiteurs et de gestion adaptée des sites écotouristiques.
